New “Holler” Tees

by Kentucky For Kentucky |

This Friday, May 20th, at 10 a.m. we’re launching our new “Holler” t-shirts!

Some folks contend that “holler” stems from a regionalized pronunciation of hollow, a small valley between two hills, usually with a creek (crick) or dry stream bed running through it. Others maintain it comes from neighbors hollerin’ across said valley like a sort of mountain telegraph system.

Whatever the origin, we like to think of this kick-ass new design as a shout-out to those loud and proud to sport their affinity for those hidden pockets of rural life, where neighbors know each other by name and don’t hesitate to drop in and say howdy. Holler!

Pick yours up beginning at 10 a.m. Friday in the online shop and at the Fun Mall, 720 Bryan Ave. in Lexington!

Happy Birthday was invented by the Hill sisters in Louisville, Kentucky.
